No one wants to watch a live experience someone else is having,
A VIRTUAL event is a broadcast experience, but a HYBRID event combines both. So they should be produced differently.
Consider - the experience you have sitting in a stadium watching a live football match is very different to the one you have sitting at home.
So focus on the audience, not the medium.
Create broadcast experiences that are designed and formatted to engage an audience watching from home not the seats in the room. Consider different MC’s, a live MC and a Broadcast Host. Consider shorter formats, more engagement and cutaway to pre-recorded segments. Then add view based activities, interaction and at-home-kits sent to instruct, workshop and consume (as in eat and drink).
Create different.
