The future of events will be to - Click and Collect.

As you sit and click to search, to watch, to connect and communicate - what is being collected? Data. For years, brands have been collecting data to better analyse your wants, needs and desires. It enables them to better adapt and respond to the market.

Now, as WFH and online virtual or hybrid meetings become the new norm; you are able to capture data that will provide better insights, understanding and knowledge of what your audience thinks and feels and how they react.

Gone is the post event survey. Now you are able to structure the format of your meeting, launch or conference to ensure that the experiences created engage the audience whilst also capturing valued and insightful data. And better data means you can anticipate and plan, for future needs.

So forget about whether a speaker was rated high or low – look at what segment your audience watched, what understanding they gained, what questions they asked and what conversations they want to have more of. Your presentations should not be about watching - they should be about interacting, engaging and then more focused responses.
